I'm based in Newry and currently work in program and curriculum development within the Further Education and Training (FET) sector. With over 20 years of teaching experience across all levels, I specialize in designing learner-centered programs and assessments that support real progress. I’m passionate about education, lifelong learning, and helping learners build confidence in their own abilities.
I specialise in guiding students and professionals through research, academic writing, and critical thinking, helping you produce work that is clear, structured, and academically robust.
Whether you need support with dissertations, theses, essays, or professional applications, I provide personalised tutoring tailored to your goals and deadlines. With over a decade of experience mentoring learners and a strong background in education policy and programme development, I combine practical expertise with academic rigour to help you succeed.

I take a learner-centred approach, adapting each lesson to suit the student's specific goals and learning style. My teaching is clear, structured, and interactive, with regular opportunities for learners to ask questions, apply their knowledge, and review key concepts. I focus strongly on consolidation of learning, ensuring that students not only understand the material but can confidently use it.

Typical Lesson Length
Most online lessons are 60 minutes, but I can also offer 30-minute revision sessions or longer sessions by request (e.g. for exam preparation or project work).
