About Sally
For 25 years I have been studying how plants grow, behave and cope with environmental stresses such as drought, air pollution, flooding and nutrient deprivation. At university I have tutored several PhD students to help them achieve their doctorates, and given lectures to Masters students. I have shown many people of all age groups how to test plant growth in the greenhouse.

I can teach you how plants grow and respond to their environment, whether you are doing your GCSEs or A Levels, or whether you are at University or college doing a degree up to Masters level or beyond. I use simple diagrams to explain processes, and I like each lesson to tell a complete story, to make it memorable. I can show you how to perform experiments that you can replicate at home - sometimes all you need is a plant in a pot and a ruler!
