About Swathika
Hi, I'm Swathika! I'm currently completing a PhD in Neuroscience at Western Sydney University after earning a Master of Science in Biotechnology. My research has given me a strong foundation in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Neuroscience, along with years of experience solving complex scientific problems and communicating them in a clear and engaging way.
I believe that every student learns differently. My aim is to help students understand concepts rather than memorize facts, build confidence, and develop problem-solving skills that will benefit them beyond exams.
To me, research is about continually learning, discovering and sharing knowledge. I hope to inspire that same curiosity, confidence and love of learning in every student I teach. I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals!

I am currently completing a PhD in Neuroscience and hold a Master of Science in Biotechnology. Throughout my research career, I have developed extensive knowledge in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology and neuroscience, and have experience presenting scientific concepts to diverse audiences through conferences, publications and laboratory meetings.
My teaching approach is centered on helping students truly understand concepts rather than memorizing information. I encourage students to ask questions and develop their own ways of understanding concepts and solving problems, helping them build confidence and strengthen their critical thinking skills.
My lessons are suitable for high school students studying Biology, Chemistry and Science, as well as university students undertaking Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Neuroscience. Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although I can offer 90- or 120-minute sessions for university students or those preparing for exams.
