About Kristie
I’m a second-year Psychology PhD candidate. I completed undergraduate studies in Psychology, Criminology and Justice with a High Distinction average (2023), then completed Psychology Honours with First Class Honours, with a top-marked thesis (2024).
I tutor Criminology at university level and I mark Psychology and Criminology assignments. I work with undergraduate students who want to become stronger academic writers.
My approach is warm, encouraging, and empathetic. I genuinely like helping students do as well as they can, and I want you to leave each session feeling clearer, more confident, and more in control of what to do next.

I tutor undergraduate Psychology and Criminology with a strong focus on assessments: structure, evidence, academic writing, and APA 7 referencing. I also mark university assignments, so I’m familiar with common places students lose marks.
In lessons we can:
• clarify what the assignment question is asking (and what the rubric is actually assessing)
• build a clear plan and structure before you write
• strengthen your argument and critical analysis
• improve paragraph flow and academic style
• find reputable sources (and avoid weak ones)
• fix APA 7 referencing and formatting
• review a draft and turn feedback into practical changes
My approach is practical and supportive. The goal is not just a better mark, but skills you can reuse in every unit.
