About Andrew
I'm passionate about maths, science, and education. I come from Christchurch, New Zealand, and studied physics at the University of Canterbury. I then went overseas and obtained a PhD in astrophysics at Leiden University in the Netherlands. Following this, I worked as an astrophysicist in the US for 6 years, before returning home to Christchurch, New Zealand.
I want to teach because I love sharing my passion for maths, physics, and science! I also love helping people reach their full potential so let's unlock your full potential together!

I've tutored students at all levels, from primary school to university (including NCEA). I love seeing my students' success as they reach their full potential! My experience has shown me the importance of understanding exactly what's holding my students back, as this enables targeted lessons that quickly address those limiting factors. I tailor my lessons to take advantage of my students' preferred learning styles to maximize their learning efficiency. I also make me lessons friendly and fun as that's the best way to learn!
