About Dana
As mentioned, I have a doctorate in Archaeology from Stanford University. I also lived in Italy for many years, studying and researching the ancient world. I chose not to become a professor because I found my true place as a teacher, not as a researcher. I love working with children and adults of all ages.

My lessons are structured just as I structure my classroom. They are engaging and involve a variety of activities to keep you active and excited. I assign as much homework as you are willing. I work with both middle and upper school students. Because of this, I know that we all desire to learn as children do- through fun. My lessons always involve elements of fun and interesting memorization tactics, such as songs.
