I was very fortunate to have been taught biology by Soumya Ma'am for a number of years in secondary school. She's an amazing teacher and mentor, and is always ready to aid a student. She is a percipient teacher in the classroom and immensely dedicated to her work, and this is seen in her ability to get concepts across in a clear, concise manner. Further, her comprehension and erudition in biology, in both depth and breadth, is unparalleled, extending far far beyond the prescribed high school syllabus.

Soumya Ma'am is an absolutely amazing biology teacher whose ability to explain difficult concepts in a simple manner is beyond compare. She will always go the extra mile to share interesting facts (for example, new discoveries and inventions) that are relevant to what she is teaching. Having been her student for 3 years, I very highly recommend ma'am!

Having known Soumya Ma’am as a teacher and a mentor throughout my high school, I have admired many qualities about her teaching and personality. An avid multitasker, Soumya ma’am has been able to handle hundreds of students in a day, while managing co-curricular tasks with flawless efficiency. From junior to high school, she has an ability to connect with any kind of student to effectively convey her lessons, and the student family at National Public School Indiranagar, Bangalore, will proudly stand testament to this fact.

Soumya ma'am is one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever known. She taught me that there was an ocean of information outside the world of textbooks. She never failed to keep me captivated during biology classes, even when the topics were dry and has the knack of how to teach each topic such that it doesn't get boring . She always came well prepared for her classes and always made it a point to clear all our doubts. Today, I am perusing my course in medicine because of the love for biology she inculcated in me!

Soumya ma'am was my Biology teacher in school (2014-15) in National Public School, indiranagar. She was an exemplary teacher who was very well versed in the subject. She is a very sincere and dedicated teacher who would go the extra mile for students. Her teaching was not restricted to or bound by text books and was meant to build our knowledge and interest in the subject rather than to pass any exam. She also encouraged us to participate in interactive exercises to make the whole learning process more interesting. She was very close to her students and could relate to many of them on a personal level so that she remains in touch with many of her students many years after they pass out. I am very glad that I was lucky enough to be taught by her.
