About Julia
I am a medical/health economics student in London. I am currently on a leave of absence in Perth for family reasons. Prior to commencing medical school, I achieved a B.A. (Hons) majoring in History. Accordingly, I can tutor across a breadth of subjects.
I have been tutoring for over 4 years now, teaching students in years 5-13. As well as offering tuition in English, Maths, and Science, I also offer help with medical school admissions and general essay schools.

All of my lessons are individualised: at first, I will spend some time getting to know you and understand your goals, strengths, challenges and learning style.
Broadly, I aim to ensure that the student has a sound understanding of the subject. I do not 'teach to the test,' although obviously I will focus more on exam content and exam technique as exam season approaches, through using a variety of media such as worked examples.

Her work tutoring for common entrance as her student approached his final exams was focused and high yield. She was able to find multimedia resources to breakthrough areas of difficulty and prepare the student for his exams by teaching study skills and revision technique as well as content.
