About Tiandi
Hi, I’m Tiandi, a current 5th grade teacher with a background in special education and psychology. I provide personalized academic support for elementary and middle school students who benefit from student-centered instruction and confidence-building tutoring. I have experience supporting students with IEPs, ADHD, autism, and learning differences, and I specialize in individualized lesson plans that focus on scaffolding instruction, visual learning strategies, and evidence-based teaching practices. My sessions integrate executive functioning support, study skills coaching, and organization strategies to help students become more independent learners. Hi! I’m a current 5th grade teacher with a background in special education and psychology, offering personalized academic tutoring for elementary and middle school students.
I specialize in supporting students who benefit from structured, patient, and confidence-building instruction, including learners with ADHD, autism, learning differences, or IEPs. My approach focuses on helping students truly understand concepts, build strong foundational skills, and develop strategies they can use independently, both in and out of the classroom.
Each session is tailored to the individual learner. I break down complex material into manageable steps, use visuals and real-world examples, and integrate study skills and executive functioning support to improve focus, organization, and confidence. As a classroom teacher, I understand curriculum standards, academic expectations, and how to support students who may feel overwhelmed or discouraged by school.
My goal is not just to help students complete assignments, but to help them feel capable, motivated, and confident in their learning.
