About Sanat Kumar
As a Senior Software Engineer at Visa, I work with numbers, logic, and problem-solving every day. But long before I wrote my first line of code, I fell in love with mathematics — not just as a subject, but as a way of thinking. Over the years, I've seen how a strong foundation in math opens doors — to technology, engineering, finance, and so much more. But I’ve also seen how traditional teaching often fails to make math feel relevant, intuitive, or even enjoyable. That’s why I want to teach. I want to help students see math the way I do: not as a set of formulas to memorize, but as a powerful tool for understanding the world. My experience in the tech industry allows me to show students how math is used in real life — in algorithms, data, and problem-solving — and why it matters.
