About Patrick
Art is the source that helps me say the words I was always afraid to say in my youth. Creative writing was my escape from the painful reality I was in during my adolescence. Through the ten years of performing poetry in public competitions and events to teaching multiple creative writing workshops at different schools from grades 6-12, I've made it a mission to inspire youth to be better versions of themselves.

I always check in with my students to see how they're doing. How their day was, how they're feeling, etc. Just to get a feel of where everyone is at in the moment. Then I proceed with a short icebreaker question to get to know the students a little better. Whatever the lesson is, I always make sure my students are writing and creating. My lessons are for middle and high schoolers at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced level. The thing that sets me apart from other tutors is that I am 100% invested in supporting my students' growth not only as writers but as people. The lessons I teach are lessons they can take with them as they get older. I teach a range of poetry, storytelling, and reading comprehension.
