About Arshia
My name is Arshia, and I am a computer programming graduate and junior developer with several years of hands-on experience in IT and software development. I am passionate about helping students understand programming in a clear, supportive, and stress-free environment, especially at the beginner and youth level.
I hold a diploma in Computer Programming and have practical experience working with real-world technologies such as JavaScript, Python, databases, and web development tools. Alongside my academic background, I have also worked in technical support roles, which strengthened my ability to explain technical concepts clearly, patiently, and at the right level for each learner.
As a tutor, I take professionalism very seriously. I prepare structured lessons, adapt my teaching style to each student, and always aim to create a positive learning atmosphere where questions are encouraged. My name is Arshia, and my approach to teaching programming is simple: make coding understandable, enjoyable, and confidence-building for kids. I believe that children learn best when lessons feel engaging rather than overwhelming, so I focus on clear explanations, patience, and hands-on practice.
My teaching methodology
I use a step-by-step, beginner-friendly approach. Concepts are broken down into small, manageable pieces and explained using real-life examples, visuals, and interactive activities. Instead of memorizing code, students learn how to think logically, solve problems, and understand why things work. I adapt my pace to each student’s learning style and never rush them.
A typical lesson
A usual lesson starts with a quick review of what the student already knows. Then we introduce a new concept using simple explanations and examples. At the end, we review what was learned and, if appropriate, I give a light practice task to reinforce the lesson.
