About Phoebe
Welcome to the Smart & Fun Zone! Hey there, future super-students! My name is Teacher Phoebe, and I am your go-to guide for mastering Mathematics and English without the stress, the boring lectures, or the confusion. Who am I? I am a tech-savvy tutor who just smashed my WAEC and NECO exams! Because I just finished secondary school, I know exactly what it feels like to sit in class, look at a difficult math problem, and think, “What on earth is this?” I am here to tell you that you can do it, and I am going to show you how! What We Will Conquer Together: Mathematics Magic: We will turn scary fractions, tricky algebra, and long division into easy, step-by-step puzzles. Using my laptop and a digital whiteboard, we will solve problems together live on screen! English Excellence: We will boost your grammar, polish your essay writing, master your comprehension, and build unstoppable vocabulary confidence. Global Conversations: If you are an international student joining from outside Nigeria, welcome! We will practice Conversational English together in a super friendly, zero-judgment space so you can speak fluently and confidently. My Teaching Style: I don’t do boring. My classes are highly visual, fully interactive, and packed with encouragement. We will use tools like Microsoft OneNote so you can see exactly what I am writing in real-time, and we will use cool tech like Grammarly to catch errors together like a team of detectives. Whether you want to score an A+ in your next school test, pass your BECE, or just speak English like a pro, I've got your back. Let’s make learning your favorite part of the day! See you in class!

Who My Lessons Are For:My lessons are specifically designed for Primary School pupils (Primary 1–6) and Junior Secondary School students (JSS 1–3) who need help building a solid foundation in Mathematics and English. I also tailor my English lessons for international or foreign students who want a patient, friendly environment to practice Conversational English and basic grammar. My Teaching Methodology & Techniques:I use a highly visual, interactive, and step-by-step approach to teaching online. Since my classes are held via webcam, I share my laptop screen and use Microsoft OneNote as a live digital whiteboard. This allows students to watch me solve math problems and edit English sentences in real-time, just like a classroom board. I break down tricky math concepts into simple logical steps, and I use modern tools to help students interactively spot and correct punctuation or tense errors. I am highly patient, keep my energy positive, and adjust my pacing to match how fast the student learns. My Qualifications:I am an ambitious and tech-savvy tutor who recently completed my WAEC and NECO secondary school examinations. Because I am close in age to my younger students, I am uniquely qualified to understand their academic pressures, school curriculum, and common learning blind spots. The exam structures and core foundations of Math and English are fresh in my mind, allowing me to coach them effectively for school success and terminal exams.
