About Winee
With over 5 years of experience as an ESL tutor, I have had the privilege of teaching 150-200 high school and college students from diverse backgrounds. My mission is to make English learning accessible, engaging, and practical for every student I work with.
I am deeply passionate about education and believe that learning a language can open doors to new opportunities and experiences. I focus on enhancing my students’ communication skills, academic writing, and overall confidence in English, using real-life examples and personalised lesson plans to make learning enjoyable.
Some of the highlights of my tutoring career include helping students improve their grades, achieve fluency in conversation, and gain confidence in academic settings. Witnessing their progress and knowing I played a part in their success has been incredibly fulfilling.
I create a positive and motivating learning environment where students feel supported and encouraged to explore the language, make mistakes, and learn from them. My approach is patient, practical, and tailored to each student’s learning style.
Teaching ESL is not just my profession—it is my passion. I am committed to helping students achieve their goals, unlock their potential, and develop a lifelong love for English and learning.

My teaching methodology combines practical learning, motivation, and adaptability to ensure students succeed in English. I use real-life examples and case studies to make lessons meaningful, helping students see how English can be applied in real situations such as conversations, presentations, or writing tasks.
I emphasise motivation, encouraging students to stay engaged, set personal goals, and celebrate small achievements. Problem-solving is a key part of my teaching; I guide students through challenges, helping them think critically and find solutions independently.
Integrity is central to my approach, ensuring honesty, transparency, and trust between me and my students. I also practise flexibility, adjusting lessons to suit each student’s abilities, pace, and interests.
Besides teaching ESL, I can integrate knowledge from related subjects such as communication, study skills, and professional writing. My goal is to help students gain not just language skills but also confidence, critical thinking, and the ability to communicate effectively in any situation.
