My Teaching Method and Techniques
My approach is rooted in patience and adaptability. Having served as a volunteer assistant in science labs and math groups, I believe in using math manipulatives and visual aids to make abstract concepts concrete. I focus on:

A Typical Lesson Plan
The Hook (5 mins): A quick, engaging brain teaser or real-world connection to the day's math or science topiv
Guided Practice (15 mins): Working through problems together using tools like math manipulatives or diagrams.
Independent Exploration (20 mins): The student tackles a task while I provide real-time troubleshooting and support.
Review & Reflect (10 mins): We summarize what was learned and "grade" our progress together to foster a sense of accomplishment.
