About Lola
I am a passionate and dedicated Piano tutor with 10 years of experience in teaching and professional music work. I teach piano to school and college students and enjoy helping learners build confidence and skill through music. Teaching piano allows me to share my love for music while supporting student growth.
Over the 10 years, I have reached important milestones such as helping beginners understand piano basics and guiding students to play confidently in front of others. These experiences taught me that patience and encouragement are key parts of good education.
My lessons focus on strong foundations including posture, finger technique, rhythm, and music reading. I also introduce basic music theory so students understand what they play and improve faster.
I believe piano education helps students develop focus, discipline, and emotional expression. One of my proudest moments is seeing students enjoy music without fear or pressure.
My teaching style is calm, friendly, and flexible. I adjust lessons to suit each student’s pace and goals. My aim is to inspire students to enjoy piano learning and continue their musical journey with confidence.

I believe piano lessons should be practical, enjoyable, and creatively enriching. I emphasise clear communication, ensuring that students understand every aspect of their lessons—from hand techniques and rhythm to music theory and expressive performance. Lessons are adapted to each student’s learning style, using visual, auditory, or hands-on methods for maximum effectiveness.
I incorporate real-life examples and case studies, such as exploring favourite songs, analysing classical compositions, and demonstrating music in films or daily life.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, ear training, improvisation, and beginner composition, giving students the tools to become well-rounded musicians.
My teaching fosters creativity, technical skill, performance confidence, and a genuine enjoyment of music that lasts a lifetime.
