About Shristi
I’m a dedicated chemistry tutor with 4 years of experience helping students excel in middle school science, Honors Chemistry, and AP Chemistry. My teaching focuses on clarity, structure, and building confidence, ensuring that students not only understand the material but can apply it in problem-solving and exams. Over the years, I’ve worked with students across different curricula, including US high school science tracks. I’m familiar with how chemistry develops through grades — from general science in middle school to Honors Chemistry in grades 9–10, and AP Chemistry in grades 11–12. I believe that with the right approach, chemistry can be straightforward and even enjoyable. My role is to simplify challenging concepts, give students the tools to work through them independently, and provide the kind of support that makes a lasting difference in their academic journey.

My lessons are fully tailored to each student’s needs, starting with a quick assessment to understand their strengths, gaps, and goals. For each topic, I explain concepts clearly, walk through examples step-by-step, and guide the student through practice problems to ensure mastery.
For Honors Chemistry and AP Chemistry, I include exam-style questions, past paper practice, and targeted strategies for multiple-choice and free-response sections. For middle school science, I focus on building a strong foundation so students transition smoothly into high school chemistry.
Each session ends with a quick recap and key takeaways, so students know exactly what they’ve learned and what to review before our next meeting. I also provide optional practice exercises and feedback between lessons to keep progress steady.
