About Fatma
Hello, I’m Fatma! I’m currently training to become a qualified primary school teacher (QTS), and I absolutely love what I do. My journey in education has taken me into mainstream classrooms, where I’ve had the privilege of working with children of all abilities—including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), as well as both lower and higher ability pupils. These experiences have taught me that every child is unique, and that’s exactly what makes teaching so rewarding. I’m passionate about helping children discover their strengths and build their confidence. My approach is always patient and encouraging—I want my students to feel comfortable, supported, and excited to learn. I believe that mistakes are part of the journey, and I’m here to guide each child through challenges and celebrate every achievement, big or small. Professionalism is very important to me. I take great care in planning my lessons, staying up-to-date with the latest teaching methods, and making sure I provide the best possible support for every student. Parents and students can feel reassured that I am committed, reliable, and always focused on each child’s well-being and progress. Above all, I want my students to enjoy learning and feel proud of what they accomplish. I look forward to working with you and being part of your child’s learning journey!

My Approach & Teaching Style Hi, I’m Fatma! I truly believe that every child is unique, and that’s what makes teaching so rewarding. My approach is all about getting to know each student as an individual—understanding what makes them curious, what they find tricky, and how they learn best. I love using interactive activities, creative resources, and real-life examples to make lessons come alive and keep things interesting. Having worked with children of all abilities—including those with SEND, as well as both lower and higher ability pupils—I know how important it is to adapt and be flexible. My goal is always to create a warm, friendly space where students feel comfortable, supported, and confident to ask questions or make mistakes. I want learning to feel like an adventure, not a chore! What a Lesson With Me Looks Like Most of my lessons are around 60 minutes, but I’m always happy to adjust if that suits you better. We’ll start each session with a quick catch-up—sometimes just chatting about your day or what’s on your mind. Then we’ll review what we covered last time, set some clear goals for the lesson, and dive into a mix of activities designed just for you. I love finishing each lesson by celebrating what went well and setting a small, positive goal for next time. My Background I’m currently studying for my Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and I’ve spent time working in mainstream schools with children from all sorts of backgrounds and abilities. I’ve supported students with SEND, as well as those who need a little extra help or an extra challenge. These experiences have taught me how to encourage, motivate, and help every child find their confidence. Who My Lessons Are For My tutoring is perfect for primary school-aged children, whether they need a boost in confidence, a bit of extra support, or just want to get excited about learning. I’m also happy to help children who are learning English as an additional language or who want to focus on specific subjects, like Arabic.
