About Sumana
I am a passionate, Jolly Phonics-certified educator with 8+ years of teaching experience. I believe that every child can become an independent reader when properly guided.
Every child is different, so my sessions are tailored to each child's learning curve.
Programs offered-
Level 1 - Early Readers - Mastering the 26 core letter sounds, identifying beginning, middle, and ending sounds in a word, and reading simple CVC words.
Level 2 · Transitional Readers -
Blending consonants, reading CVCC/CCVC words, introducing consonant digraphs (ch, sh, th), tackling basic
sight words, and moving toward short independent sentences.
Level 3 · Fluent Readers Vowel digraphs and alternate spellings (igh, ai, ue...), complex sight words, reading comprehension, and
vocabulary building.
