About Sabrina
I am a very energetic person with a lot of interests. I hold a degree in Intercultural Communication and a postgraduate certificate in Teaching Italian as a Second Language, from Siena University. In Italy I used to teach Italian to immigrants, children in school and to adults as a volunteer for charities. I have lived in the UK for many years now and I have worked as a private tutor and also as an educator and teaching assistant in various schools. I now have a full-time job in finance but still enjoy teaching my native language in the evenings.

I teach using a variety of medium: written texts, grammar exercises, games, video and audio. I like to get to know my students and their learning style in order to tailor my lessons to each individual's needs and ability. Having taught people of any age and from many different backgrounds in a great variety of settings, I will be able to make my lessons engaging and interesting according to your personality and learning style.

I recently had a set of one-to-one lessons with Sabrina. I found her welcoming, friendly and happy to adapt our sessions to my needs. I already had some confidence with Italian (lower intermediate) and came wanting to improve my fluency, particularly in conversation. I found Sabrina easy to talk with and we never struggled to find something to talk about. Sabrina also pointed me at learning resources to help me with particular points of grammar and I got some excellent notes on common idioms I was not previously aware of.
