I’m a piano tutor with over 14 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Classical Piano. My lessons are personalized to fit each student’s unique goals and learning style. I specialize in chord theory, ear training, improvisation, and performance skills to help you become a well-rounded musician. I teach students at all levels—from complete beginners to advanced players working toward mastery. Whether you’re interested in jazz, classical, or other styles, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. My piano teaching approach is designed especially for students preparing for performances, competitions, or recordings. I focus on building strong posture to ensure comfort and prevent injury during playing. Together, we work on phrasing to bring out the music’s emotion and make your performance more expressive. Stage presence is also key—I help you feel confident and connect with your audience naturally. In addition to technique, I guide you through modern recording methods using digital audio workstations and audio analysis apps. This helps you understand how your playing sounds from a listener’s perspective and improves your final recordings. Whether you are aiming for exams or playing in church settings, I tailor lessons to support your specific goals. I encourage steady progress, focusing on your strengths while addressing areas that need improvement. My goal is to help you excel with clear, practical guidance and positive motivation. Together, we build the skills you need to perform confidently, expressively, and professionally—both on stage and in the studio.
