About Vanessa
Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Politics, International Studies, and German from Warwick University, and a Master’s degree in International Relations of the Americas, my academic path has been diverse and enriching. Fluent in German, Italian, and English, I have a strong foundation in languages alongside a robust mathematical background, demonstrated through my A-level achievements in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and German. Currently thriving as a full-time software engineer, my career has honed my analytical and problem-solving skills. Beyond my formal education and professional life, I possess valuable tutoring experience, which has enabled me to effectively communicate complex concepts and foster a positive learning environment. This assessment allows me to create personalized lesson plans that cater to the student’s specific objectives, whether it’s mastering a new mathematical concept or becoming fluent in German. My lessons typically begin with a brief overview of the topic, followed by interactive discussions, practical exercises, and real-world applications to solidify understanding.
For each lesson, I meticulously prepare materials and resources that are engaging and appropriate for the student’s level. This may include multimedia resources, practice worksheets, and interactive tools that facilitate a dynamic learning experience. I also stay abreast of the latest educational technologies and methodologies to enhance the learning process.
