About Sreyashi Koyel
Grades aren’t everything—but let’s be honest, they matter a lot. Still, getting an A+ isn’t just about memorising or cramming. It’s about mindset, time management, and discipline. That’s where I come in. I’ve been teaching for over 5 years, starting with my toughest student—my own brother. If he could make it, so can you. Since then, I’ve worked with students of all abilities, including neurodivergent learners and teens struggling with confidence. One of my proudest moments? Explaining tuberculosis to a 12-year-old in rural Bengal in a way that clicked. I take a personalised, student-first approach, because qualifications don’t matter if the teaching doesn’t land. I take a mixed-methods approach—sounds like something out of a lab, right? What it really means is that I adapt to the VARK learning styles: • Visual (diagrams, flowcharts, videos) • Auditory (discussion, explanation) • Reading/Writing (notes, summaries, practice papers) • Kinesthetic (hands-on learning, active recall techniques) If you’re struggling with understanding concepts, these strategies help unlock new ways to grasp and retain information. When it comes to exam papers, I share practical tips from years of analysing past papers—spotting the patterns, themes, and “tricks” examiners like to use. Many students find experiment-based and maths-heavy questions intimidating, but I’ve developed step-by-step approaches that take you from “I’m stuck” to “I’ve got this.” If time management is the bigger challenge, I’ll help you apply the SMART goal framework (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound). As a former high school student juggling 5+ subjects, tuition, extracurriculars, parent expectations, and a social life—I get it. That’s why I also integrate positive reinforcement and motivational strategies, so you’re not just learning but also staying energised and confident. Every student is different, so after our trial session, we’ll design a personalised lesson plan that fits your goals, learning style, and pace.
