About Shriya
I’m a competitive national level chess player, a state champion with a FIDE rating of 1819 and I love breaking down complex strategies into simple, effective lessons. I enjoy seeing players improve, refine their tactics, and apply strategic thinking in every game. I love sharing my personal understanding and insights about chess. I am grateful to have learned from coaches who have been a part of my adventurous chess journey and I want to be the same for others!

I teach chess with a mix of strategy, tactics, game analysis, quality feedback and improvement methods to help players better their game. My coaching includes interactive lessons, real-game simulations, challenging puzzles and data-driven coaching for focused , accelerated learning. I ensure passion towards the game along with improvement. Timely homework, suggestions and assignments will be provided to ensure constant engagement with the game.

Lots of self study puzzles and homework given with regular doubt solving. Fun classes with lot of interaction.
Fun and engaging. Learnt a lot.
Explained lessons very easily.
She makes the class simple and easy to understand. Ensures that I understand the lesson fully and guides through puzzle solving such that I will be able to solve it myself. She emphasises on practical learning and uses recent GM games to teach tough concepts in a exciting gamified way.
