My Approach as a Tutor
As an English tutor, my goal is to help every student build confidence and achieve success in a fun, supportive environment. I use the PPP (Presentation, Practice, Production) methodology to make sure each lesson is clear, structured, and engaging.
Teaching Method and Techniques
I start by presenting new language skills or topics in an easy-to-understand way, using real-life examples, stories, and interactive tools. This helps students see how English is used in everyday situations. In the practice stage, we work together through activities like games, quizzes, and guided conversations to reinforce learning. Finally, during production, students get creative—they might present a story, have a friendly debate, or complete a project using what they’ve learned.
A Typical Lesson Plan
A typical lesson begins with a lively warm-up to get everyone excited and ready to learn. Next, I introduce the lesson’s main focus with a short presentation. We then move into practice activities that make learning interactive and enjoyable. The lesson wraps up with a production task, where students use their new skills in a fun, meaningful way. We finish with a quick review and set goals for next time.
