About Lerato
I am currently studying towards an LLB degree at the University of Witwatersrand.I have a degree in Bachelor of Social Sciences(Majoring in Business Management and Political Sciences) from the University of the Free State. I am currently a mentor of first year students at the University of the Witwatersrand where I offer guidance and mentorship to students in their transition from High School to University life.I am currently part of the South Africa Mentorship Programme offered by BakerMcKenzie Law firm.
Moreover,I am eager to share all the skills and abilities I have acquired so far during my studies.I personally feel that I was able to achieve a lot because of the best lectures and tutors who played a significant role in my learning journey.Now I am looking forward to becoming that kind of tutor for you.

My approach of teaching: Interactive/Participative methods coupled with "Teaching English without teaching English" A method recommended by Roberto Guzman.
The best way to learn and remember information is through doing fun activities such as watching TedTalk ,YouTube videos and reading essays and newspapers and articles regarding current crisis which students can relate to. This will foster an atmosphere of conversation and allow students to be able to analyse,synthesis and evaluate information given to them. This will also improve the students writing and oral skills and also their vocabulary and grammar.
