About Ann Mary K
Hello! I'm Ann, an M.Sc. Chemistry graduate and B.Ed.-qualified educator with experience teaching Science and Chemistry to students from Grades 6 to 10. My goal is to make science simple, engaging, and enjoyable while helping students build confidence in their abilities.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I create a supportive and encouraging environment where questions are always welcome. Whether you're struggling with a difficult concept, preparing for an exam, or aiming to improve your grades, I'll guide you with patience, clear explanations, and personalized support.
My lessons focus on understanding concepts rather than memorizing facts. I use real-life examples, interactive discussions, and plenty of practice to help students develop strong fundamentals and critical thinking skills. I also provide regular feedback and revision strategies so students can track their progress and feel well-prepared for their examinations.

I believe that true learning happens when students understand concepts rather than memorize them. My teaching approach is student-centered, interactive, and focused on building a strong foundation so that learners gain confidence and develop problem-solving skills.
Each class begins with a quick review of previous concepts, followed by a clear explanation of the new topic using simple language, real-life examples, diagrams, and visual aids wherever needed. Throughout the lesson, I encourage students to ask questions and think critically instead of simply accepting answers. Every session includes guided practice, regular concept checks, and exam-oriented questions to reinforce learning.
I adapt my teaching style to each student's pace and learning needs. Whether a student needs help catching up, strengthening fundamentals, or aiming for top grades, I create personalized lessons that address their specific goals. I also provide regular practice worksheets, revision strategies, and constructive feedback to help students track their progress.
