As a tutor, I use a warm, student-centered approach tailored to each child’s unique learning style. I primarily work with students in Kindergarten through Grade 4, including those with learning differences such as autism and Down syndrome. My lessons combine structured learning with interactive games and visual aids to keep young learners engaged. Each session begins with a quick review, followed by a focused activity based on the child’s current needs—reading comprehension, phonics, or basic math concepts. I close every lesson with positive reinforcement and a short reflection to build confidence and independence. I strive to create a safe, encouraging space where children feel comfortable making mistakes and excited to learn.
