Teaching method and techniques
My teaching approach is communicative, dynamic, and student-centered. I combine grammar and vocabulary with practical communication, always adapting the content to the student’s level, objectives, interests, and learning style. I use a wide variety of resources, including online interactive exercises, video sequences, radio recordings, books, magazines, press and other authentic media. This allows students to develop not only their linguistic knowledge but also their listening comprehension, speaking skills, pronunciation, and cultural awareness.
A typical lesson plan
A typical lesson combines different stages and activities to maintain an active and engaging learning environment. We may begin with a short conversation or review activity, followed by the introduction of new vocabulary or a grammatical concept. We then work with an authentic document, video, audio, or text and apply the new language through guided and freer speaking activities. Each lesson is adapted according to the student’s progress and needs.
What sets me apart as a tutor
What sets me apart is my ability to combine solid pedagogical knowledge with creativity and flexibility. I believe that learning a language should be both structured and meaningful. Rather than relying on a single textbook or methodology, I create varied lessons using authentic materials and real-life situations. My goal is for students to feel increasingly confident using the language independently and naturally.
