My teaching approach is as follows:
Select the topic of the subject that I want to teach. Give a dedicated time of 2-3 days until the chapter gets finished and the student gets free from all the doubts.
Give other 2 days of self revision by the student and then arrange the test of that particular topic on 4th or 5th day.
In the interim I get started with some other topic of any other subject. And follows the same procedure as above. Meanwhile I take 2 tests a week.
Arrange the special doubt class on the student demand only on weekends(i,e generally off, if there's no doubts).
Maintain the proper record of student's growth through the deep evaluation of their tests.
Provide the subject notes, special questions etc.
Not only limited to the syllabus. Also arrange some useful and knowledgeable activities in the last 10-15 minutes of class, like vocabulary game, some newspaper reading game and some general knowledge that helps in busting out the stress and also proves useful in long term.
