About Caroline
I am au pair since september in the beautiful city of London. Already passionate about this language before leaving, I decided after just a month on the spot to get involved in the TEFL (a program to teach English as a foreign language) and to make it a profession to communicate my passion for this language! I also have experience in primary teaching in Belgium but have not (yet) completed my studies and stopped during my 3rd year.

I apply to the letter the method taught by my TEFL tutors. First of all, I propose a skype interview of 15 minutes during which we will discuss your expectations and your needs. I can give a pre-exam support course as well as starting from scratch and offering a follow-up course! If, after this first interview, you decide to continue with me, we will establish a schedule of 30-minute sessions. Here is how a complete lesson works:
- BEFORE the session, I will provide you with a document (written, video, image, ...) and ask you to read/listen to it.
- DURING the session (30min), we will do several fun activities to work on the desired concept, at least one of them will be based on the pre-session document.
- AFTER the session, you will have a small task to perform and we can discuss about it by email.
Note that we will speak only English during these lessons. Do not worry, do not be afraid to make mistakes, that is how you learn and there is no harm in that! And above all, have fun!
