About Josephine
I have a degree from the University of Oxford in Human Sciences, so have knowledge in both biological and social sciences.
I have been tutoring privately for 5 years, in a range of subjects from ages 12 up to 18. I am also experienced helping with personal statements, and interview preparation for Oxbridge.
I am a keen sportswoman and play lacrosse competitively for Spencer lacrosse club.

My teaching methods vary depending on the needs of the student. For some individuals there is a lack of understanding, and in these sessions I am focused on being patient and providing different ways of explaining difficult concepts. Here my main aim is to ensure the student can completely conceptualise and understand the whole question.
For other students there is a need to improve exam technique in preparation for examinations. Here i am able to guide students to improve the way in which the use their knowledge in order to maximise the marks gained.
