About Akshima
Currently, I attend Oxford and study medicine. I have a strong understanding of Maths, Biology and Chemistry, all subjects I use in my degree and have achieved A*s in at A level. I have over 500 hours experience in 1-2-1 tutoring and small group tutoring, working with students at varying abilities. My strong ability to connect with people which helps me identify the best strategies to explain concepts and better progress my tutees understanding of a subject.

Tutoring requires a very personal approach, and my lessons will aim to find and address individual weaknesses and aid students to overcome these and feel more confident in their abilities to perform well in exams. My lessons will also allow students to acquire a better grasp of the subject matter and we will discuss revision strategies for longer term retention. As someone who has recently sat A levels and GCSEs, I am able to provide tips and tricks that I myself used to achieve (concealed information) at GCSE and A*A*A* (Biology, Chemistry and Maths) at A-level.
