About Patrick
I’m an experienced Economics tutor with nearly a decade of teaching experience, specialising in helping ambitious students achieve top academic results and secure places at leading universities. I graduated from the University of Oxford with a double prize-winning First in Economics, combining strong academic credentials with years of practical teaching experience across A-level, university admissions, and undergraduate support.
Students and parents value my professionalism, reliability, and ability to explain difficult concepts clearly. I aim to create a calm and productive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, thinking critically, and pushing themselves academically.

I teach students across all age groups, from primary school to postgraduate level, including Oxbridge applications, exams, and entrance preparation. I have tutored extensively for the TSA, ECAA, TMUA, MAT, and TARA, and have led multiple school preparation days across independent schools in the UK.
I have taught over 2,000 hours, helping countless students either push for top grades or improve from below pass level to a strong pass.
My teaching approach is centred around a bottom-up philosophy. I believe that any complex question can be broken down into simpler, more manageable parts. By teaching from first principles, I equip students with the tools to approach problems methodically and confidently, regardless of subject or level.
Equally important to me is creating a collaborative and respectful learning environment. I treat every student as an individual - whether they’re 6 or 26 - and tailor my approach to suit their unique strengths, needs, and learning style. I love teaching and genuinely enjoy working alongside students to build their curiosity, confidence, and independence.
