About Dava Xi
I am currently studying Economics and Management at the University of Oxford. I studied the International Baccalaureate in high school, including economics at higher level, where I earned a 7. I have a gold in the IEOx winter challenge, along with first prize globally in the economics round. I ranked top 10 in the UK in the economics academic marathon, and I received a high distinction in the economics John Locke Global Essay Competition. I have experience with applying to university in both the UK and the US, with an SAT score of 1580/1600. I can provide assistance with university applications, including personal statement or essay drafting, TSA prep, mock interviews, or advice on extracurriculars.

I can teach economics theory at IB/A level/GCSE level or provide training and advice for the International Economics Olympiad, including how to answer structured questions to meet mark schemes. I conduct virtual lessons to go through material or answer questions together. Can also mark and explain questions done outside of lessons. I have an A* in economics IGCSE, with 96th percentile. I have also scored No.1 in the International Economics Olympiad written portion globally, with a gold medal overall. I also have a high distinction in the economics John Locke global essay competition. Fluent in English, can understand a bit of Mandarin and Malay. I am currently holding an offer to study Economics and Management at Oxford University.
