My name is Rico. I grew up in Hong Kong and studied in Tokyo. I have over 13 years of Japanese teaching experience at universities. I moved to Manchester in 2021 and now working as a Japanese tutor at one of the universities in the North West England.

I am a PhD in Japanese Studies, obtained a MA in Japanese language and teaching and JLPT N1. Learning Japanese as a second language, I know exactly what difficult topics a foreigner has to face. Having years of living and working experiences in Japan, I can explain the culture behind the language.
