About Louisa
Hello! I’m Louisa — a friendly and caring tutor who loves helping children discover the joy of learning maths. I’ve worked as a Teaching Assistant for many years, supporting pupils with different abilities and learning styles, including those with special educational needs.
I love teaching because I enjoy seeing children grow in confidence when they realise they can do it! For me, learning isn’t just about getting the right answer — it’s about feeling proud of your progress, enjoying the challenge, and believing in yourself.
Whether we’re working online or in person, my lessons are always positive, encouraging, and tailored to help every child succeed at their own pace.

I’m a friendly and experienced Teaching Assistant who loves helping children grow in confidence with maths. I’ve supported KS2 pupils of all abilities, including those with special educational needs, and always tailor my lessons to suit each child’s learning style. My sessions are engaging, encouraging, and focused on building real understanding through fun, practical activities.
I speak English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and I’m happy to support children who are learning English as an additional language. I offer both online and in-person tutoring, helping every child feel proud of their progress and enjoy learning maths.
