About Luna
I am a professional and experienced Flute tutor with over 18 years of teaching experience. I teach school students, college students, and working professionals who want to learn flute for education, hobby, or career development.
My tutoring style is flexible, supportive, and goal-focused. I understand that each student has different learning needs, so I customise lessons accordingly. I focus on breathing control, tone development, finger technique, rhythm, and musical understanding.
In addition to flute training, I teach music theory, notation reading, sight reading, rhythm practice, ear training, and basic performance techniques. I also support students with exam preparation, auditions, and stage confidence.
My unique strength is my ability to motivate students and maintain consistency in learning. I provide clear explanations, practical exercises, and regular feedback. My goal is to help students grow musically while enjoying the process of learning flute.

Follow a student-centred teaching methodology for flute that is based on communication, creativity, and flexibility. My goal is to support each student’s musical growth in a comfortable learning environment.
Communication helps build understanding and trust. I explain flute concepts using simple language and demonstrations. I encourage students to ask questions and share their challenges. Regular feedback helps them stay focused and motivated.
Creativity keeps lessons engaging. I use creative warm-ups, rhythm games, and familiar tunes to make learning enjoyable. I also focus on musical expression, tone development, and phrasing to help students play with confidence.
Flexibility allows lessons to adapt to individual learning needs. I adjust teaching methods based on the student’s progress and learning style. Lessons can focus on exams, performances, or personal interest.
Flute lessons cover breathing techniques, posture, finger coordination, articulation, scales, rhythm, and sight reading. I focus on building strong basics before moving to advanced skills.
Along with flute, I teach related subjects such as music theory, note reading, ear training, and basic performance skills. These subjects support overall musical development.
My aim is to guide students with patience, encouragement, and clear direction.
