About Myriam
I am a French National originally from Dijon, I am a fully qualified French and English teacher from the UK and have been teaching French and English in the UK for over 10 years now. I am very confident teaching children in an educational, interactive and engaging setting. I have the experience behind me to cater for all learning levels, beginner all the way up to advanced. Holding a PGCE in Modern Languages from Saint Mary’s University since 2012, I had the opportunity to work in some of the highest achieving schools in the UK such as Tiffin Girls, Surbiton High School and Saint Mary’s Ascot where I learnt outstanding teaching techniques. On top of this successful and amazing experience, I have been giving private tuition on a one-to-one basis since 2013 to people of all ages; from young children to adults. Excellent learning, engaging activities as well as structured planning are the key elements for me to lead you to the top of your abilities. Within a few lessons you should be able to grasp key sentences as well as a natural flow which helps you to travel and chat with confidence abroad. Socialising in a foreign language as well as discovering new cultures are passions that I like to share with all my students.

I always make sure to liaise with my students by phone, Skype, WhatsApp, or Zoom in order to understand why they want to learn a Foreign Language. This first conversation is free of charge and helps me to understand in which areas the students would like to focus. Following this exchange, I am able to decide how to structure as well as adapt my lessons in regards to your needs. Thanks to an outstanding teaching you will be able to think easily on your feet as well as being confident in using a foreign language. I always make sure to prepare my lessons in advance providing detailed and structured resources using Word document and PowerPoint so that each session is conducive to learning.

I have worked in the most prestigious schools in the UK which helped me to develop outstanding teaching strategies. I also always make sure to prepare very detailed resources in advance on Word Document and PowerPoint which requires about an hour preparation before the session itself. This is a way for me to ensure a positive atmosphere which is also conducive to learning.
