Hello! My name is Taylor. I am a math tutor that primarily focuses on helping students learn basic math and arithmetic, along with helping students learn Algebra 1. I love to help and watch students grow, along with building a bond with them as well.

I am a student who just recently graduated Algebra 1 as part of the top of my class with an A+. Because of my recent experience with learning, I have less of a likelihood of forgetting important skills that students may need to learn. I am also very experienced with teaching other students, as I teach students daily at school with all kinds of math.
I am more than willing to teach any elementary and middle school math, along with high school algebra 1.
When I teach students math, I like to start with showing them how you do the steps of the problem along with writing important notes with them so they can remember how to do the steps. I not only explain how the steps work, but also why they work. I then like to explain why what the student is learning is important, and how they will use it in the future. From there, I work out problems together with the student.
