About Camilla

My name is Camilla, I am 28 years old and I am a PhD student in Sociology of cultural and communicative processes. Graduated in Political Science and International Relations with a thesis in Contemporary History on identity conflicts in Europe, I continued my studies in Criminological Sciences for Security Investigation, obtaining a master's degree with full marks in Media and Security. My thesis work concerned journalistic practices and social insecurity in Italy. I am in fact a freelance journalist registered in the register, after almost three years of profession carried out in a national press agency during the conclusion of my master's studies. I speak and write in English with level C1. Currently my research area concerns information and communication on Europe and the European Union.

I have good empathic skills, flexibility in the organization and management of lessons according to the needs of individuals. I like to teach but above all to be helpful in overcoming those difficult moments that studying can put us in front of us, to learn to live studying with passion and without fear.

The individual dimension of each student is the basis from which to start understanding what they need most to fill any gaps and improve their learning as well as their results. Identifying the passions of individuals is the first step in creating a valid and effective study support program that provides tangible results without neglecting the inclinations of each student.

From preparation of notes to memorization and oral repetition techniques to deepening, I provide repetition and study support for high school in:

- Contemporary history
- Sociology and sociology of communication
- Italian language and literature
- English literature

For university students:
- Sociology of communication (mass communication theories and media studies)
- Journalism (from theory to practice)
- Contemporary history
- European Studies / History of Europe
- Thesis support in subjects as Sociology, Digital Studies, Criminological Sciences, Political Sciences, History of Europe and Contemporary History (methodological approach, research design, identification of reference literature, notes and bibliography)

I integrate the theoretical study with practical exercises through the aid of interactive tools (videos, exercises, conversation, in-depth readings and exam simulations)
