About Douglas
Music is an art and therapy that are interspersed all the time.
Technique does not teach, it improves what we know.
My methodology starts from these two principles. I try to make the classes a playful and practical exercise and present the instrument to the student in a friendly and calm way. Whether with the voice, guitar or keyboard, I try to start from the repertoire itself so that the person can feel the music right away.
I have been teaching for all ages, genres and musical styles for over 10 years, which made me know several didactic ways (not to mention training as a Licensee) to present the music to the student.
For singing, we will work on the principles of breathing, muscles of the phonatory system (stretching, strengthening and articulation) and, in the repertoire, vocal resonance, where the student will discover how his voice behaves in front of the songs and what is the best way to position the voice.
For the Guitar and Keyboard, traditional exercises for the improvement of fingers and wrist will be applied and the technical development will follow the repertoire that the student wants to learn so that, thus, musical growth goes hand in hand with the technique.
The classes have didactic material in PDF that will be of the student and the monitoring of the studies will take place both in classes and during the week between classes through a private group where all the tips and exercises are posted plus the hours of duty where I I will answer all questions.

Douglas Geronimo - Music Teacher graduated in Music Degree from FIAM FAAM.
I acted and I act in several musical fronts like bands, workshops, events but my specialization is in the teaching area. Thanks to several educational works with bodies such as UNESCO, Paulo Monte Negro Institute and Ação Educativa I found myself directed to transmit my knowledge. Hence my formation in Music Degree.
I taught in several schools of Free Courses, Musical Institutes and Private Lessons and always tried to improve my didactics so that the student absorbed in a clear and playful way and content itself. And the most important thing is that this content makes sense and is in communion with the reality of those who want to learn.
