English

Online classes through lichess.org and Discord platforms.

Customized according to the student's wishes and needs.

4 step method:

1) Determine goals

I talk to the student to understand what their learning goals are. Examples: preparation for a tournament, specific opponent or simply evolving in the game.

2) Leveling

I play with the student and I propose some exercises to determine their level in each aspect of the game. Levels:
- basic: student with little or no familiarity with the rules of the game;
-beginner: student knows the rules of the game, but not the basic principles;
- Intermediate: student knows the basic rules and principles of chess and seeks to understand more advanced principles.

3) Elaboration of the lesson and study plan

We jointly create a lesson and study plan based on three factors:
- Student goals;
- Student level;
- Availability of student time.

Example:
For a beginner student who simply seeks to improve in the game and can do one class a week and some quick exercises daily, we can propose a class model focused on the explanation of key concepts with few exercises in class to just fix the concept. During the rest of the week, the student practices with the recommended exercises to check if it is fixed. The next class starts with a brief review and moves on to the next concept.

4) Hands-on

All agreed, we left for classes and studies!
