About Madeleine
I am 17 and currently in my last year of school. I love teaching and being able to help people be able to understand and enjoy their subjects better. I go to an international school and took AP Biology, Physics 1, Calculus BC, English literature, last year and am taking AP Chemistry, Psychology, Economics, and Calculus BC extended currently. I have always loved and excelled at STEM subjects but equally enjoy art and design and being able to have a creative outlet. I hope to be able to teach in a way that’s specific for each student and find the easiest and most helpful ways for them to learn. Aside from my academic enthusiasm I also love working with children of all ages.

I teach students ranging from years 3-11 (Up to GCSE level), I passed all mandatory iGCSE courses (Sciences, English, Maths) at an 8 or above. Lesson times can be fixed to fit the student's schedule but I prefer a minimum of 45 minutes. I try to mould the lessons best dependent on how each student works, as everyone works differently. Whether it is a specific subject or topic area, or general preparation for an exam, I will work through techniques and methods and aim to build confidence, enjoyment, and accuracy. I volunteer as a peer mentor/teaching assistant at my school already so have experience working with and teaching kids, but would like to do more during my last year of school.
