About Leah
The reason for my slightly higher than average hourly rate is because I am a qualified, full time English Teacher; currently teaching A Level and GCSE English at an OFSTED rated 'outstanding' college in the North West. I have been teaching for over a year, and being a full-time teacher means I not only have the knowledge of my subject area but also the experience of providing high quality teaching. I have a record of outstanding results in both GCSE and A Level English, which should provide you with confidence knowing that you or your child are in good hands.

Currently a full time A Level and GCSE teacher, I can provide sessions in GCSE English Language and A Level Literature which are my specialist areas, and I am comfortable with most exam boards for those of you working towards an exam. As a full time teacher I am passionate about students and their results, and recognise the best way to achieve your target grade and beyond.
Lessons will be structured, one hour long with exam focus as the key area of development. My lessons are geared towards students who wish to improve in confidence, tackle particular exam style questions or improve on revision techniques.
Due to the COVID-19 situation, I am currently offering online classes to ensure students/parents are happy with their continued education. I will use PowerPoints, and teach a lesson in the same way I would teach my own students.
