About Alain
My name is Alain Jeanne. I am sixty-three years old and currently live in Morrinsville, Waikato. I am the father of three children: Lucca, Leon, and Samuel.
My youngest, Samuel, is a student at Morrinsville College and is learning French through the online learning organization Te Kura. As with my son Leon, I am assisting Samuel in his quest to learn the language of his ancestors, and I have noticed that the materials used by Te Kura and others (the Zoom platform, educational resources) are more or less the same as those I regularly use with my seventy-three students, spread across twenty-five classes.
I was recently informed by my employer that my position within the academy's organization would be reviewed and that a reduction in workload and salary was being considered.
Proactive by nature, I am now seeking a part-time or full-time position as a tutor, facilitator, or moderator, so that I can pursue my passion for teaching my native language to children of all ages.
Having dual French and New Zealand citizenship and residing in New Zealand since 1998, I have a very good command of English, which is essential for explaining the mechanisms of French grammar and its similarities to English grammar. I am also proficient in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and Zoom.
