About Emmy
With 7 years of ESL tutoring experience, I have helped high school and college students develop strong English communication skills. I believe education can change lives, and language plays a key role in that journey.
I have taught between 150 and 200 students from different academic backgrounds. Many students have improved their confidence, fluency, and academic performance, which I consider a major milestone in my teaching career.
My teaching style focuses on clarity, patience, and practice. I use simple explanations and real-life situations to help students understand English naturally. I encourage students to ask questions and learn without pressure.
One of my key achievements has been guiding students to speak English confidently in classrooms and interviews. Their success motivates me to continue improving my teaching methods.

My ESL teaching methodology focuses on clear communication, motivation, and practical learning. I believe English is best learnt when students feel comfortable and confident. I begin by assessing the student’s level and understanding their needs, whether it is for conversation, exams, work, or daily use.
Motivation is at the centre of my tutoring style. I help students stay focused by setting small goals and celebrating progress. Communication is practised in every class through speaking exercises, listening activities, and simple discussions. I encourage students to express their thoughts freely without fear of making mistakes.
Creativity helps make lessons enjoyable and effective. I use creative exercises such as storytelling, role play, pictures, and real-life examples to improve vocabulary and fluency. Time management ensures that each session covers learning, practice, and revision without pressure.
In addition to ESL, I can teach pronunciation training, basic grammar, sentence formation, spoken English, workplace communication, email writing, and presentation skills. My teaching approach is flexible, simple, and supportive, helping students improve their English skills step by step with confidence.
