About Emily
I'm a Sociology student at Durham University. Having achieved 10 A-A* grades at GCSE and 40 at the IB, I have a natural love of academia and am especially interested in English, French and History. Additionally, I have supported successful applications to universities including Oxford, Yale, NYU, Bristol and Bath.
I feel confident with all age groups and have worked with young children learning to read as well through to GCSE students learning exam technique and the importance of effective essay writing.

I adapt my methodology to the student depending on the requirements of the individual and any time constraints.
Ideally we would organise an hour and a half sessions twice a week, with work set for you to do in your own time in preparation for the following session. For students at A level/IB/Pre U standard or below, I will make a reading list available that supports our tutoring sessions.
