About Sheriffa
Hello! My name is Sheri, and I am a friendly, patient, and enthusiastic TEFL-trained English teacher. I have a genuine passion for helping students learn, grow, and become more confident in their English communication skills.
I enjoy creating a warm and welcoming learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, participating, and making mistakes as part of the learning process. I believe that learning should be both educational and enjoyable, so I use engaging activities, conversation, examples, and practical exercises to keep my lessons interesting.
I am passionate about working with beginner and intermediate learners and helping them improve their speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, reading, and everyday English.
As a teacher, I am caring, encouraging, and attentive to each student's individual needs. My goal is for every student to leave my lesson feeling proud of what they have learned and motivated to keep improving.
I am interested in teaching because I genuinely enjoy helping others learn, grow, and discover their potential. I find it rewarding to see a student understand something they previously found difficult and become more confident as they progress.
I am interested in teaching English because communication is such an important part of everyday life, education, travel, and future opportunities. I would love to help students develop their English skills in a supportive and enjoyable environment where they feel comfortable learning at their own pace.
Teaching also allows me to be creative, patient, and encouraging while building positive relationships with my students. My goal is not only to teach English, but also to motivate my students and help them believe in themselves.
I believe every student can learn, and I would be proud to be part of their learning journey.

My lessons are friendly, engaging, and designed to help every student feel comfortable and confident while learning. As a TEFL-trained teacher, I use a patient and encouraging approach, adapting each lesson to the student’s individual level, goals, and learning style.
I teach English in a simple, practical, and enjoyable way, using conversation, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, grammar, and interactive activities. I believe that students learn best when they feel supported and are encouraged to participate without being afraid of making mistakes.
In a typical lesson, students can expect a warm introduction, clear explanations, guided practice, and opportunities to use what they have learned through conversation and activities. I provide constructive feedback and celebrate progress along the way.
My lessons are suitable for beginner to intermediate English learners, including students who want to improve their speaking, vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, reading, and everyday communication skills.
My goal is to make every lesson a positive learning experience where students can learn, have fun, and grow together!
