About Emily
I believe in a collaborative style of teaching, personalising the experience based on the student and urge students to write alongside me to help maximise the utility of our lessons. When I was going through GCSEs and A levels, I wish someone would have listened to me when I explained the things I struggled with, and instead of doing it for me, slowly talked me through my work and offered insightful points based on my prior knowledge.

I am available for teaching at any level from ages 11-18 for 1 hour tutoring sessions. My methods are tailored to the individual needs of my students. Whether this involves annotating texts, forming these interpretations into clear points, comparing and contrasting literary techniques and themes between texts, or ensuring the highest level of spelling, grammar and punctuation.
